Grouper is a lean, moist fish with a distinctive yet mild flavor, large flakes and a firm texture. Grouper’s flavor profile is like a cross between Bass and Halibut. Even though it is lean, this fish is forgiving during cooking and can be rather difficult to “over cook” in the sense of drying out. It is excellent when deep fried, on the grill, sautéed, baked or broiled on the oven or pan seared in your own favorite sauce. Our center cut Grouper portions are individually vacuumed packed, skinless, boneless, 10 oz each and are center cut from the top loin of the fillet. You can order by the portion from 1 to as many as you like.
